It’s Spooky Season in Fayetteville!

It’s October – which means it’s spooky season here in the ‘ville! Downtown is looking extra festive and we can’t wait for the best month of the year. The leaves are changing and the temperatures are dropping; the New River Gorge is beautiful in the fall!

Bridge Day 2023

While Halloween is just around the corner, we also have one of the biggest events in the state this month – Bridge Day! On Saturday, October 21, thousands of visitors will head to Fayetteville to watch BASE jumpers leap off the New River Gorge Bridge. While the BASE jumpers are the main attraction, there will also be hundreds of vendors and food trucks lined up along the road. It’s a can’t-miss event! After you spend time on the bridge, be sure to head to town to check out all of the local shops and stop by the Escape-A-Torium!
